Samsung, Nokia, HTC, etc. V/s Micromax, Karbonn, Xolo, Lava, etc.

My father bought a Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos for 17,000 INR but says that it was waste as Micromax and Karbonn are giving the same features in lesser cost. I researched and found out that-

    High toxic radiations from Micromax, Karbonn, etc. Mobile Phones can cause BRAIN CANCER.But these companies may not be following international radiation guidelines entirely, and most don’t disclose the SAR(Specific Absorption Rate) values of their phones.It is measured in watts per kilogram (W/kg).There has been research that has concluded that the radiations from cell phones can possibly be carcinogenic.(This means that they can cause cancer)The higher the SAR value, more is the radiation absorbed in the body.By european standards SAR value of a phone shouldn’t be more than 2W/kg and american (and canadian) standards dictate a much lower 1.6W/kg. Mobile phones having SAR values above these are legally not allowed on sale in these countries..Micromax mobile phone models in the market is as high as 1.97W/kg (Micromax X600) which is border-lining the safety limit (almost crossing it really)!From any standards these Micromax SAR values are quite alarming, and that applies to almost all Indian mobile phone models.For international brands like Nokia, Samsung, Sony, LG etc too you should always verify the radiation levels before you buy one, though they follow quite strict regulations of production, so are trustworthy. Now, that is why they keep their costs so high.
