Hey, I am back with an awesome post. Ya, I know that it has been long since I last posted and that was because of three reasons:-

  • My school started and I got lots of homework.
  • I had to complete some article writing contracts.
  • And, I got punched by Adsense!

What exactly is Adsense program?

Adsense is a simple advertisement program by Google, Inc. It is a CPC (Cost-Per-Click) program that can be used by publishers of all scales. One is able to display user-interest targeted text and/or image advertisements. Revenue is generated per-click and per-impression. It is the most popular CPC advertisement program, some alternatives are Chitika, Clicksor and, but there is simply no comparison between these and Search Engine giant’s – Adsense. You can see a sample Adsense ad unit below.

How to get approved Adsense account in the first go.

So, I got approved by the Adsense few days ago and many people messaged me and started asking me to guide them so that they can get approved too. Seeing the demand, I decided to write an article on it. Yes, every blogger wants an adsense account. But do you know the steps you should take to get approved in the very first go? Well if you don’t, then I will tell you in this post. But before reading further please note the following points:-

  • Your blog must be at least 4 to 6 months old.
  • You must have a minimum daily traffic of around 100 to 150.
  • You must not have an adult niche or article like: How to hack XYZ, on your blog.
  • You must not give backlinks to malicious and adult websites.

If your blog satisfies the conditions above, the continue reading this article and get an Adsense account!

Quality is King – Yes, I am saying it again!

I always say this and I am going to say it again – “Quality is King!” It does not matter how long your post is or how many times you promote it, no one is going to like it – If you write crap. Just be yourself and be unique. Even Google cannot reject your blog if you have quality content. If you copy content then you will get nothing but a penalty in the future. Below is a simple formula you will like:

Quality Content + SEO = Traffic = Backlinks = Authority = Loyal Audience = More Traffic = Adsense approval = Revenue!

Important pages you must add to your blog now!

Just like there are important questions for our exams that we have to learn to pass it, in the same manner there are some important pages you must add to your blog in order to get approved. And they are:-
Privacy Policy – The privacy of your audience should be respected and thus, you should have a privacy policy. You should include whether you record/monitor user activity, collect information from users, use cookies, advertisement partners. Okay, okay, so you cannot type that whole legal (and highly formal) thing? Then use Privacy Policy Generator, I use it myself.
Disclaimer – Tell all the things that you deny our your responsibility, on this page. It must be clear to your users that what is in your hands and what is not. You can make one easily using this tool.
About Us – Just tell your audience about yourself. In some blogs it is one of the most viewed pages and therefore I suggest you to make it – AWESOME! And yes, Google appreciates your awesomeness.
Contact Us – What if your audience wants to give feedback or if they have any query? Have you ever wondered how they are going to connect with you? Well the best way is to make a contact us page on your blog. But don’t just add a simple form in that page.

It is all about the – Design!

Yes, the heading says it all. Your blog must look fabulous. It must me elegant and appealing so that the person reading your blog can know that you are not an amateur. There are somethings you should keep in mind:-
  • Your blog design should be responsive.
  • It should have good navigation.
  • Don’t stuff the sidebar.

For improving navigation add labels, archive, best/recent posts widget on the sidebar. Pop-ups are not encouraged. Also reduce the load time of your blog, this should also help decrease bounce rate.
